My Project

Build Me “Emotions” legos invites school children to explore emotions and physical characteristics in a fun and engaging way. As children collaborate on a range of character building experiences, they recognize feelings and identify similarities and differences. Building cards provide support and inspiration so children can continue to build and rebuild characters again and again! This is also a safe way for children to communicate with teachers and support personnel who have to have the difficult conversations about trauma. We want children to feel comfortable sharing their feelings, and we need to teach them what those feelings are. This project will give us the tools to help students express themselves safely and effectively.
