Help me give my students tools for social emotional learning everyday. Social emotional learning is vital to students' school success and overall well-being. This project includes books that will help build students' resiliency, strength, and practice mindfulness.
I teach an amazing bunch of students! My students are energetic, creative, kind, and love to have fun. Many of my students are learning English as a second (or third!) language and speak Spanish, Somali, and Hmong.
All of my students have exceptional needs, and they deserve the best learning environment and materials available in order to help them succeed.
All of my students have Autism or a developmental disability. It is vital for my students to have a classroom that is a calming refuge that can be a place for them to feel welcome, safe, have their needs met, and learn and grow together.

This project will help give teachers and students tools to practice mindfulness, calming down strategies, and build their resiliency everyday.
Positive social and emotional development is vital for young learners.
This development influences a child's self-confidence, empathy, the ability to develop meaningful and lasting friendships and partnerships, and a sense of importance and value to those around him/her. Social and emotional learning provides a foundation for safe and positive learning, and enhances students' ability to succeed in school, careers, and life.
This project will help give my students tangible activities and strategies to learn these vital skills at a developmentally appropriate level.
