This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am a 4th grade teacher in a high-needs, Title I elementary school. Due to COVID, the way we teach has changed. This change has come with its difficulties such as having to wear a face mask. I am looking for activities, supplies, educational games, STEM materials, and a variety of books to keep my students engaged and loving school.
I want my students to fall in love with learning even through a pandemic!
Thank you so much for your help! Here’s to a new year of learning pandemic style!
My Project
I am need in social emotional learning materials to help teach my students social emotional skills that will last them a lifetime. My students are in 4th grade, the last "normal" year of school was when they were in 1st grade. They are living through a global pandemic and are in need of learning how to cope with their emotions, both positive and negative. Having these materials will allow my students to feel comfortable having conversations about their emotions. Every morning during morning meeting the class talks about how they are feeling and what and if they need anything. These supplies will add to my morning meeting discussions and get students more engaged.
