This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be presenting a social emotional module for my students this year and I'd love to be able to provide students with the opportunity to express themselves in a healthy manner.

These journals will be an asset to our school community and give students an outlet to write and be in touch with themselves.

It's been a rough transition for many of these students post pandemic and our community has faced loss of family members, loss of jobs, and loss of confidence in themselves and their abilities.

Being able to provide these journals in a structed class setting will set a healthy routine and the ability for kids to talk and discuss how their emotions affect them daily or weekly.
