My students range from Kindergarten-Fifth grade. They come from diverse backgrounds.
My students are eager learners and love to read.
I want to encourage their love for reading by supplying books that will broaden their interests. I have students that want to enjoy reading but have not found that one book that sparks their interest yet.
My Project
Teaching children how to deal with Social Emotional Learning is so important. Showing students how to deal with their emotions helps them gain confidence in achieving goals. It also helps children learn to be empathetic and understanding with their peers. Children who know how to manage their emotions can improve academic performance, decrease negative behaviors, and improve emotional health.
Teaching Social-Emotional Learning is important in helping children navigate through life.
