Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are the sweetest and most dedicated little learners out there. We have been meeting every day virtually and I can't wait to see them in person. Every morning they are ready to learn and ready to participate in our class. I know that once we get back to the classroom we will have to practice social distancing so I want to be able to give them a social experience while also keeping germs away.
My Project
I am wanting to make my classroom as safe as possible for my little ones. We will use the face shields when working in small groups so that we can keep our germs to ourselves. I will be using the plexiglass divider for my small groups so that students are able to see my face. I am planning to make dividers with clear curtains and PVC pipes so that students are still able to socialize with their friends when in the classroom. I want my students to be able to have somewhat of a normal classroom experience while also being safe.
