My Students

The student athletes in our Title One building do not acknowledge this label. These soccer girls are outgoing, hardworking, and dedicated to their academics before they ever step on the field.

Academically, these girls are involved in Junior Honor Society, over half are in Language Arts Enrichment Classes, and all complete daily homework before practice starts.

On the field, they work hard together and overcome many obstacles to find success. They enjoy working together daily as a team and already are finding success.

My Project

My girls work hard to compete against better funded teams in the city. They use what resources that are available to us, but these supplies will help their hard work to be more beneficial and to maximize every step they take. Obviously, balls will allow the girls to meet the most basic need of playing soccer. The moveable guards will allow our team to practice in realistic conditions they will encounter playing on the field. The collapsable cart will help the girls transport supplies and water to the soccer fields, which are often located far from school buildings over uneven terrain.
