My Students

Our students anxiously and excitedly wait until 5th grade to join one our Edgewood Eagle sports teams. Yearly, students ask their teachers if they're old enough to join the team yet. Our Eagles are eager to learn about sports and are ready to be active and engaged in a team atmosphere.

EES Eagles come to school eager and ready to learn despite the obstacles they face outside of the school day.

They enjoy being active and interacting with one another outside of the regular classroom. Our sports teams offer them the opportunity to learn activities that they can use now as well as in the future!

My Project

Our school has a 5th and 6th grade co-ed soccer team that is in need to shin guards, water bottles, and soccer balls. In elementary our students have two opportunities to play sports, one of those sports is soccer. There is no financial help for elementary sports, all of the equipment is bought by each individual school of their team to use.

Our Edgewood Eagle team is in desperate need of shin guards so that all of the kids can play the game safely and water bottles so they can stay hydrated.

We are also in need of soccer balls so that there is enough equipment for the team to practice their sport in small groups.
