My Students

As a teacher in a Title I school where our students range from poverty to ESL, our students need to make sure they get every opportunity to succeed. Despite their home lives and circumstances, these children work very hard to better themselves and their education.

Our school is working towards becoming a Leader In Me school, where we work hard to teach skills they need to be lifelong leaders.

Each child can and will be successful if we keep the fire burning inside them.

My Project

There are not many books for guided reading to choose from at my school. I would like to create my own guided reading library in my classroom so that I can make lessons for each book and keep using them and not have to recreate the lessons each time.

The students need to be challenged and pushed to do their best!

By getting these books they are on harder levels that I need to do just this, push my students! I want my kids to feel like they are prepared for the next grade and that is exactly what I can do with these books!
