Finding a good book to read, and enjoying it, is a magical moment! Help my students find that magical moment and a love for reading! My students need books that are interesting, fun and at their reading level.
My students come from a low socioeconomic area that has been hit hard by the economic downturn.
Many of my students are also English Language Learners who struggle to keep up at school. Even with these obstacles, my students love to read and learn! They get extremely excited about new books and can't wait to crack them open!
My Project
Having leveled, high interest books in the classroom for my students to read will make a huge difference in their education! When students are excited about reading, everything else falls into place. The more they read, the better their spelling, writing, and math skills get!
Please help my students build and continue their love of reading!
