Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are going into their 2nd year of school and their love of learning is through the roof! I teach at a Title I school, so their resources aren't the same as students at another school.
I want my students to have every opportunity possible!
They deserve to be able to learn in a fun and safe and organized environment.
They come in every day with such a bright smile on their face, and I want to do everything in my power to send them home with that same smile.
My Project
The use of flexible seating and organization in a classroom is so important to students ability to learn. By providing exercise balls and stools for students to use will help them stay focused during the day. I will also give students an opportunity to take responsibility of their own learning by providing drawers for them to keep their belongings and shelves for them to keep work.
I want to provide space that supports learning in every way possible!
Second graders are just beginning to start exploring learning on their own and I want to help facilitate that and make it fun and achievable.
