This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are amazing, excited about school, and eager to learn. I am very fortunate to be a part of their learning foundation. It takes a lot of​ resources for my students to become successful during their school experience. In order to become successful, they will need to be provided with a hands-on learning experience.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of a new vacuum cleaner. Learning in pre-k can be a very messy process. Our current vacuum cleaner is out of commission. So, we are currently using a broom and dustpan to clean our carpet, which doesn't remove the debris very well.

Having a vacuum will allow us to clean our space in a more efficient manner.

The Dyson will be a great addition to our classroom because it doesn't only clean carpets. The vacuum will also be used to clean our tile floors. Maintaining a clean floor is vital in a pre-k classroom.
