Help me give my students an iPad and a case to be able to share their work with their parents, create fabulous Green Screen movies and use our coding robots.
My students, in grades kindergarten through fifth grade, are very motivated Gifted and Talented students. We work very hard on year long independent study research based projects during our time in my classroom. I also strive to provide other challenging opportunities for the students to explore including coding robots, challenge games, and digital breakouts. My students love to use and incorporate technology into everything they do in my classroom and especially like to show technology use in their final project display.
My Project
Technology is used every single day by students in my classroom. We are very fortunate to have several amazing tools to further our exploration and learning but an iPad would allow us to take it to the next level and extend our projects and learning ever further!
An iPad will open up a plethora of opportunities for my students to be able to use aps and tools that are available on an iPad.
In addition to all of the great features of the iPad we are looking forward to students being able to do a few constant tasks with our new iPad. Students will be able to use the iPad to take pictures and videos of their current work to send to their parents instantly. This will be amazing as we work on year long projects for parents to ask questions, give encouragement and have discussions at home about the students work. Students will also be able to use our Green Screen and the iPad to write, produce and film their own videos! This is always so much fun for them as they each turn into a Director and create their piece. Students will also be able to use our coding robots to learn all of the amazing things you can code the robot to do around our classroom.
