I teach a kindergarten special day class that is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. My students are learning to recognize and write letters (words) and numbers (addition and subtraction). We are also learning how to become strong learners overall. Our group loves to play outside, learn new games, and dance to silly songs.
My classroom is a very energetic classroom of all boys.
We love to do new things, especially when we are able to stand up and get our wiggles out. We love Play-doh and building things with LEGO bricks. We are working on staying focused and work hard even when things get difficult.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to learn about a variety of different things created for students at their grade level. They love listening to new books and looking at the pictures.
Being able to have money to buy things on TPT (a teaching website), I will be able to purchase resources that can best benefit them and their needs.
These activities can be done at home and at school. I love teaching using all different methods and this will help me be able to achieve that goal.
