My students are fun vibrant kids who love to play, explore and discover new things on their own. They each have areas of interest and ask a lot of questions I can't answer. They are good kids learning how their world works.
My students are funny, smart and hardworking!
Even my students who struggle give me 100% on their educational journey. Most of my students enjoy coming to school and seeing their friends and learning right beside them.
All of my students look forward to our activities and participate in them. They enjoy sharing their successes and special things that happen in their life. I like to celebrate with them to show them my support. I also enjoy cheering them on at their soccer games. I believe that having a positive learning experience is a key factor in their future success.
My Project
This project is to expand our classroom library and expose the kids to a variety of books. There are non-fiction books, books with poems and books to teach main idea and theme.
During our poetry unit, the kids will be able to explore funny poems made specifically for kids.
The non-fiction books will be used as a reference book when they make their own non-fiction book. More Parts and Even More Parts are books to teach kids figurative language. Two Bad ants will teach kids about the main idea and theme of a book.
Each student will be able to read and explore these books during silent reading. They can enjoy the diversity of the books and learn about topics at their own level.
