My students need tissues, sanitizer, wipes, and simple cleaning supplies and products to keep them both healthy and clean to maintain a hygienic and clean work environment.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher in one of the lowest income/highest poverty schools in our district I understand that our students face many obstacles. As a teacher within our school, my goal is for my students to understand that learning is the key to success in life and for college readiness. By preparing our learners academically and giving them access to experiences they would not have access to otherwise. We are molding positive contributors to our school community and the community outside of our district.
This year I am teaching a very bright, enthusiastic group of advance learners in all subject areas.
I am fortunate to understand that all students have the capacity to be GREAT thinkers and I want to work with them to help them discover their own love for learning. When our students love to learn teaching becomes much more organic within the classroom.
My students love to work together and bring such life and joy into the classroom each and every day. They come eager to learn, work on group projects, learn new things and come with the skills needed to be successful. I need rich, engaging and supportive resources to push my students to their fullest potential.
My Project
My students love coming into a classroom that is creative, engaging and welcoming. It is with your support and my desire to provide students with a classroom environment that is clean, pleasant both aesthetically and hygienically.
I love when my students take ownership of their classroom.
Many of my students enjoy being given roles within the classroom one of which is ensuring that their work space is tidy and clean. By maintaining a clean workspace it has shown that students are able to focus and do their best work!
With a dust pan and broom, my students will be able to clean the floor after a long day at school and whenever needed. I will be able to keep the tabletops clean for my students by using the Clorox wipes, paper towels and Lysol spray. Lastly they will be able to keep their little hands clean and free from germs by using the hand sanitizer. The materials requested in this project will improve my students' school experience, by making sure that our classroom is clean, safe, and welcoming as well as keep germs away in order help raise student attendance!
