My school is located in the inner Sunset district of San Francisco, where English is the second language for almost half of the students. Fifty percent of our school population qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch.
As a middle school teacher, I strive to keep learning fun, challenging, interesting, and relevant.
My students come from all areas in San Francisco with eager, creative, and curious minds. They are motivated to do well and they enjoy hands-on activities to enrich their learning and understanding.
The air inside my classroom can become unpleasant or even unbearable at times whether it's because of the many middle school bodies in the classroom or because of the air that creeps in from outside. My students need clean water to help hydrate and cool them down after being active in P.E. class or running around outside during lunchtime.
The Dyson air purifier unit and the Brita water filter will allow my students to breathe in fresh air and give them access to clean drinking water in the classroom.
The air purifier and water filter will also help with allergies, sneezing, rehydration, and ease any discomfort that is felt in a crowded and stuffy classroom.
