My Students
My students are amazing elementary scholars who are fully virtual. Due to COVID-19, the families in my class have chosen to attend school fully remotely. They log in each morning and attend school each period following the same schedule and curriculum that they would if they were in person. I have 2 sets of students, a morning and afternoon class. They enjoy reading diverse books and participating in interactive math lessons.
My students come from very diverse backgrounds.
I have a large ENL population, they are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. My students are general and special education students. They are all amazing kids!
My Project
These blankets will help keep my students warm in the winter. Many students are either learning remotely, or in a hybrid model. In school, we leave the windows open to circulate fresh air, which means the classroom often gets cold. Students will be able to bring their blankets back and forth with them from school to home to keep them warm this winter!
These blankets will be distributed in collaboration with the Library Media Specialist and our winter reading program, urging students to cozy up with a good book while at home!
