My Students
Our school serves students in grades PK-5 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment.
I teach at a Title I school in Southern California where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
One challenge is providing a relaxing place for my students to read their favorite books. Currently my students sit in plastic chairs. Although this does the job, we would love a nice comfortable rug to stretch out on and relax while we read.
My students are eager to learn and do their best. It's my mission for each and every one of them to enjoy coming to school.
My Project
Our new Lakeshore Learning flex space blue rug will allow a cozy area in which each student can discover the joys of reading and learn library skills in a fun and colorful way.
Our new flex-space comfy blue rectangular classroom carpet will help brighten up our room, help teach a lesson or just send a message that reading is fun!
Our class can not wait to have a cozy new area rug to enjoy while reading our favorite books! We LOVE to read and this rug will be a welcomed addition to our classroom.
