My students need a variety of 50+ books, especially from the Goosebump Series with a zone of proximal development between third grade and fifth grade.

My Students

Everyday we have silent uninterrupted reading for the opening fifteen minutes of class. I would like to expand my library with the variety of books requested.

Our school is not falling apart but we are definitely in a low socio-economic area.

Many of our students come from families that are broken and have rough lives. Some have a very low opinion of school and teaching can be very challenging. Help me inspire them with this vast array of spooky titles.

My Project

Many of my students read between a third and fifth grade level, so seventh grade books are too hard. We have many books but due to the popularity of R.L. Stine many of my Goosebumps books are worn or falling apart. Help make next year's reading campaign spooky and fun.

Reading is the most important skill we can teach our keiki (children).

It will make them life long learners and open doors to different careers that many of them never even dreamed possible.
