As a Physical Education teacher in a Title 1 school in N.Y.C, my students face many challenges. I am looking to provide my students with innovative and life-changing experiences.
My students are curious, creative, and find humor in almost everything.

My students are amazed by the simplest things in and out of school! It is my hope that I spark their imaginations and help their wonder grow with inquiry!
Our school is made up of students who work hard and try to maintain a growth mindset. They have proven to be eager to learn and committed to their learning even with the limited resources and low income status. My goal is to encourage my students to always work towards becoming the best student they can be.
My Project
My school community is full of wonderful students who have great opportunities to participate in physical education activities. I am requesting sneakers to participate in fun activities for physical education!
This project will provide sneakers to my students who may not be able to purchase or have access to quality sneakers for physical education activities such as running, participating in field day, and engaging on our new Ninja Warrior course during Physical Education class.
One of my students came to me to ask me for tape during class because the bottom of her show fell off. So I taped it and tried to find her a pair of sneakers. This project will help provide basic needs.
I believe that my school values health education and wellness as a key component of academic development in all grades. We are so excited to continue to support our talented, and energetic students continue to benefit from physical education activities.
