My Students
My Kindergarten students are outstanding children who love to learn in new, exciting ways! They are always putting in extra effort and putting their best foot forward. I teach some ELL students with a few Newcomer students who are new to America as well as to learning English. I am constantly thinking up new ways to engage my students and make learning, especially learning English, entertaining and memorable! In addition, I strive to stay organized for them and teach responsibility!
My Project
These materials will not only make my classroom “snazzy” but they are useful and will organize certain aspects of the classroom tools that we use everyday. These materials are also kid-friendly for my students to use on their own to learn independence and responsibility. My students participate in learning centers every single day and they learn routines early on and having organizational tools around the room like the Literacy Center Management Chart and the Books on Wheels Mobile Cart will keep them on task and will serve as a reminder if they need extra assistance and guidance. Children love to feel a sense of responsibility and these materials will help reinforce that skill!
