My second graders are wonderful students who come to school each and every day eager to learn. My students come from all over the world. Our different cultures and diversities make our classroom a wonderful place of learning. Some of my students have only been in the United States for a few years. The strength these children show in adapting to a new country, new school and new environment never ceases to amaze me! I want to give my students every opportunity possible to ensure their success.
I truly believe that all children deserve all that is necessary to enhance their learning but sometimes it is financially difficult to provide them with all that they need.

My Project
The writing process is a huge part of our day. The children in my class love to write. We are currently working on small moment stories and the children would love to be able to print out their stories on the computer!
