My Students

My kiddos are awesome! I have transitioned from teaching math to teaching STEM, and my goal is to make learning engaging, exciting, inviting, and relevant. Although some might question my sanity, teaching middle schoolers is the best! Middle schoolers are naturally inquisitive and are exciting to learn more about the world around them. Although some will not openly admit it, there is a love of learning within all of my students and I desire to have them let it out! All we do is all for them!

My Project

The materials being requested for this project give my students some amazing opportunities to learn by being creative during hands-on experiences. The Snap Circuits requested allow students to see how real circuits work as they build their own and see exactly what works and what does. Our unit in electricity utilizes these Snap Circuits perfectly! Problem solving and critical thinking skills are a valuable part of the learning experience achieved when using Snap Circuits.

This project promotes student engagement, inspires students to be creative, encourages critical thinking and problem solving, and invigorates working collaboratively...all while having fun!
