My Students

I have a room full of bright and creative 5 and 6 year olds from a variety of backgrounds. One hundred percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.

These students love learning and I want to surround them with a variety of fun, creative, and engaging multi-sensory learning experiences.

These kids are amazing! They are excited and curious about everything in life and I want to surround them with a rich variety of sensory learning experiences so that they are always thirsting to learn more, think deeper, ask why, and dream big!

My Project

Snap word cards are a great tool to help students learn their sight words faster and become little readers sooner.

Snap words are a fun multi sensory way for students learn their sight words.Many struggling readers are visual learners who think in pictures, not symbols.

Many sight words are abstract and children cannot create a visual of the word in their head. Snap words help bridge that gap. For students with motor skill delays, visual processing issues, ADHD, and dyslexia it can also be very helpful. The cards also include hand motion for the word – a necessary tool for many kinesthetic learners.
