My Students

Our district, which is the most diverse school district in Michigan, enrolls students who speak more than 60 languages. My classroom is no exception. My students come from many different backgrounds and cultures. I try to create an environment that celebrates our differences​ but also draws us together as a cohesive classroom.

At our school, we strive to touch the lives of children in a way that prepares them to take their place as citizens with high academic skills and fine moral character.

As a teacher, I try to go that extra mile to support my students in the journey of learning.

Through their education, I hope to make a lasting impression on them. However, the items we have in our classrooms don't always last, and it becomes time to replace them with something new to help enhance learning even more. This is where I am on my journey of teaching.

My Project

Help give us an exciting, hands-on introduction to electronics with Elenco Electronics Snap Circuits. This innovative kit contains color-coded, real circuit components that snap together to create working electronic circuits and devices. These will provide do-it-yourself projects that will give us concrete education on how electronics work.

To think like a scientist, we need to get our hands on materials to help us experiment with the topics we are learning about.

These kits will be a great addition to our curriculum to really take our learning to the next level.
