My students need to have a fabulous culminating experience. We want to establish real world meaning to our exploration of circuits by creating our own robots. We will use the green screen/mics/and tripods to create stories.
I am a First Grade teacher at China Spring Elementary. This year it has been my goal to create innovative learning experiences for my students. The students were exposed to STEM based activities through an exploration process. This developed into curiosity of learning through their interest. Many students were curious about robots. I purchased a SNAP Circuit board in which students became experts at using. The kids started exploring VR circuits, play doe circuits and Makey Makey's. Then we invited other teachers into our room and the students taught teachers what they learned. I would love to have an end of year culminating experience for this wonderful group of kiddos. I have found a website called Sciencebuddies.com that has information about using circuits to create ROBOTS! The kids would be so excited to get to use what they have learned to create real robots! Please help us with the expense of the materials.
My Project
My student will continue their exploration of circuits. The students will apply skills they are learning through the creation of their own robots. We will use the EUDAX 5 set Rectangular DC Motor Mini Electric Motor" Lead Wires, Battery Holder Case and Motor Mounting Bracket to make our robots move. Students will apply green screen skills by recording themselves teaching about their robots. We would appreciate your support.
I would love for the students to make connections in the next step of learning by applying what they have learned to the real-world.
Please help support their excitement in learning by providing these necessary materials.
