My students come from a high poverty neighborhood with a very diverse range of home structures: nuclear, single parent, foster and migrant, to name a few.
My students love to be at school and enjoy learning, especially when the activities are hands-on.
Many of my students are English language learners who attend a public school in the South Central Los Angeles area. They are always excited to experience any kind of technology that I'm able to bring to my class.
My students need one Snap Circuits kit to provide hands on Science learning. My students will use these electronic kit to explore how electronic gadgets work. They will build sound boards, light boards, and make things fun. We will read about electricity simultaneously, but this kit will make the learning more understandable and accessible as we see what we are reading about.
This material will even the playing field by making the information more accessible to my students.
It will also make learning more fun! Please help keep my students engaged and help me present the content to my students in a way that they can truly understand. It takes a village to help a child and together we can make a difference in their lives!
