My Students

In my school, I never go through a day without a student's big smile and happy wave. My students come from a high poverty area where resources are stretched thin. We are a Title I school where 83% of my students receive free or reduced-priced lunch.

Often, my students struggle in school and really deserve the supplies they need to meet the standards they will be tested on.

They are all visual learners and need concrete examples to help them understand and comprehend the skills they are learning. I have taught third grade for 5 years and have been a member of ATPE for all 5. I love what I do and love ATPE.

My Project

My students love to do projects and activities throughout the school year for different celebrations such as the first and 100th days of school, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Mothers Day. With the Prynt printer paper, the students will be able to instantly print their pictures of these events to take home or post in the classroom. With the backpack, students will be able to safely store and transport our classroom laptop. We are a school district with limited technology so we must find ways to take the best care possible of what we do have. With your help, we will be off to a great start to our new school year!
