These children are our future meteorologists, humanitarians, surgeons, epidemiologists, and engineers. They will one day be teachers, neighbors, parents, and community leaders.
As a classroom teacher, it is my job to inspire each one to achieve his or her greatest potential.
Children need a classroom experience that grants the freedom to explore, question, problem-solve, and create solutions while the teacher serves as a guide and mentor. I use the project-based learning approach to integrate all subjects with the depth and complexity required for success in life.
As the PACE classroom teacher, I work with students identified as gifted and talented. I have a classroom full of indescribable students that are going to make the world a better place for generations to come.
My Project
My students need the Snap Circuits Extreme kits to inspire discussion and scientific discovery while exploring STEM-based career options. Hands-on activities like this are guaranteed to spark curiosity and prompt scientific discussions among my boys and girls. The Snap Circuits Extreme kits will enhance lessons and engage students in STEM learning for years to come.
My mini scientists will be able to create working circuit boards just like a real electronics engineer!
Snap Circuits provides hands-on lessons in how electrical circuits work to run the everyday devices that they're familiar with. My scientists will work with electric switches, integrated circuits, digital circuits, and fuses to create a solar alarm, a rechargeable battery, and an electronic kazoo, just to name a few.
That's not even the best part! Once my boys and girls have mastered the basic techniques, they will use the components to experiment and create customized circuits and electronic devices. How awesome is that?
