My Students

My students are an energetic bunch that enjoy the adventure of learning. My school is located in a coastal town in South Carolina. I teach all subjects to 23 fourth graders in a self-contained classroom. My students have a variety of strengths academically as well as outside of school with sports and extracurricular activities.

This is my second year in 4th grade and I am building my classroom to create the dynamic learning environment my students deserve!

My students love to read. They get excited when we begin new units. I strive to impart a life-long learner attitude.

My Project

These 3 beanbags will improve my students school live by giving them a comfortable seat up off the tiled floor. My students meet together during Book Clubs and with 24 fourth graders, the rug fills up quickly!

These beanbags will provide seating for my students to use to get them up and away from their desk.

Students spend so much time sitting at a desk, they get so excited when they are "allowed" to learn in any other place but their desk! These beanbags will be used during math instruction, small group time, independent reading, book club meetings, and so much more!
