My Project

Third grade is such an awesome grade to teach! My third-grade class is extremely fun to be with, so eager to learn, and has already developed such a positive outlook on life! They are still young at heart and for the most part, love school and their teacher. They are also old enough to explore content on a much deeper level. As a third-grade teacher, I truly enjoy helping my students develop their outlook on education, life, and the world around them.

My Project

Many of our families are financially struggling to afford food and other household items for scholars. In some cases, the only meal or snack students may receive when they are at school.

These snacks are going to make a significant impact on my students' well-being and learning.

If a scholar is hungry, it's often hard for them to focus. By providing snacks for my students such as NutriGrain Bars, Juices, and PopTarts, I can assist my students outside of the classroom while they are engaged in furthering their academic studies.

I want to make one less burden for students outside of the classroom by providing them a snack and setting each student up for success not only inside of the school but outside of the school as well.
