This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching in a Title 1 school district leads to a high-need for basic needs. We have noticed some issues with access to personal hygiene products and food. We are fighting food and hygiene insecurity in our community. We are making a hygiene closet to provide students with personal cleansing and food items. Students will be able to have easy access to basic hygiene items in order to feel clean and mentally healthy. Unfortunately, we do not have all the resources available to do this on our own. We are asking for your help, through donations, to create a more comfortable environment for everyone in our community.

Please help me get snacks to take away our kid's hunger and hygiene products for their day to day living.
