My Project

I work at a Charter School with inner-city students. Often times, the school-provided breakfast & lunch are the only meal my student's may receive. I recently started to run an after school art club, where student's can create, learn, and decompress. The main purpose of art club was to maintain a space that is not only fun, but also calming. Studies have shown that expression through art can help student's with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and stress.

Being able to provide snacks to my after school art club will greatly improve their attention span and boost their motivation.
