Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class is a wonderful group of students just outside of Denver, Colorado. We are lucky enough to live in a beautiful place and my class loves to be outside playing. Their favorite thing to do this summer was go swimming. Seriously, every single kid said they went to the pool a lot this summer.
Our fifth graders are smart, funny, hard working kids, who just need a little extra support.
Hillcrest Elementary is a Title I school and our students’ are will be learning about taking care of others. Kindness, compassion and community service helps create a big and beautiful village for our students. Thank you for being part of their village too.
My Project
Please help make sure that EVERY students gets a snack everyday for a month (hopefully more)! Our students work incredibly hard learning about volume, multiplying and dividing decimals and fractions, weather, the human body, the US Colonies, the Revolutionary War, and SO MUCH MORE! All of that hard work makes kids hungry!

Our families work very hard to provide for their children, but sometimes they need a little extra help. This population of students are often hungry and we want to help them in any way possible. Please help make sure that no one is hungry and can do their best to learn!
