Snacks for Students
Help me give my students snacks to eat so that they are not hungry.
My school has been out since March 13th . My students are using Chromebooks and paper-based materials to do their assignments from home. They have Chromebooks available to them if they have internet at home. The rest of the students have paper materials.
My students have been at home since March 13th because of the global pandemic. I would love to give them food to help them get through the day. My school is a Title I school, so we have a high poverty rate. Sending them snacks will make a big difference in their lives.
Even though snacking has developed a "bad image," snacks can be an important part of your diet.
They can provide energy in the middle of the day or when you exercise. A healthy snack between meals can also decrease your hunger and keep you from overeating at mealtime.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
