My Project

My students constantly tell me they are hungry in class. This year has been a difficult transition for them, but they are doing well. I want to make sure my students feel welcome and happy in school. Many students come to school hungry and don't eat school lunch or bring one from home.

Many of my students come from low-income households, and I want to make sure they aren't hungry throughout the day, by providing them with a snack closet in class.

My students don't ask for much, and I want them to feel loved and appreciated. A few snacks can really make a difference in a child's day, and I want my students to know they can come to our snack corner and not feel bad for needing to take something to get them through the day.
