My Students

I work at a Title I school in Phoenix, Arizona. I have the privilege of teaching 26 bright, curious, and energetic little humans. They love to be engaged in every activity and see each lesson as an exciting experience.

They come from different cultures, homes, and socioeconomic statuses which creates an inclusive classroom environment where learning can thrive.

Every day in the classroom, I try to have them see their potential and the amazing possibilities education can give them.

My Project

Every day, more than 15+ students in my classroom come to class without a snack. This can be because they didn't have time in the morning to grab one, or because many of my student's families do not have the means to provide one for their child. Without one, they are extremely hungry and cannot focus until lunchtime. These snack donations will be given to those kids in need, so they can focus in class and have the energy they need to learn.

Snack time is so important, as many of my students do not eat breakfast in the mornings.
