This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am an Academic Advisor at servicing a caseload of 300 9th grade students. By supporting this project, you will help to curb our students’ hunger, as they are often needing a few snacks between breakfast and lunch each day.

Because our 9th graders have the last two lunches of the day, I find that many of our students are hungry between breakfast and such a late lunch.

By helping supply my students with snacks they can focus on academics and not their hunger pains before lunch each day.
