My students come from a variety of backgrounds and family situations. Our school has a high population of students from low socio economic backgrounds. Many of our students come to school with empty bellies and no snacks or lunches packed.

Despite their challenges and hunger, our students are still eager to come to school and learn the best they can. Many will eat two servings of breakfast just to get themselves satiated to begin the day.
My Project
My students come from homes that struggle to put food on the table. Many of our students get their only food from school. Our snack pantry is often empty and students are left hungry.
Hungry students cannot learn, these snacks will help them focus on learning instead of their hunger.
Your donation will help supply my classroom with snacks for a few months. This will help ensure my students are learning at school instead of worrying about things that are out of their control, like hunger.
Providing a healthy snack will help my students reach their full potential on a daily basis.
