Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Thank you so much for reading about my project. I'm looking to provide snacks and supplemental food items for my kiddos so they have something to eat before heading home for the day.

Oftentimes, school is the only place my scholars receive any type of nutrition.

As sad as that sounds, and it is, I try very hard to make sure my kiddos never go home hungry. If that means providing them extra lunch, sending them home with food from my house, or providing them with snacks to tide them over, I want to do what I can to help them.

It is difficult to complete work and concentrate on school with hungry bellies. I'm hoping these snacks (chips, crackers, and pudding cups) will tide us over for the first few months of school. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
