This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students frequently come to school hungry with empty stomachs and skip lunch afterward since they either didn't bring lunch or were too overwhelmed by the noisy cafeteria to go in and eat. I have a snack closet in my room so students can get food when needed.

How can you write a 4 paragraph paper when your stomach is growling?

These snacks are for all my students who need a jolt of energy during class to refuel their stomachs and minds. Could you imagine going an entire school day without one snack or meal?
