My Project

My kindergarten students come from a Title I school in Harlem, NY. They receive 100% free breakfast and lunch each day. Many come from high-poverty homes where resources are limited.

Meeting their educational, physical, social, and emotional needs is crucial this school year!

Students are working hard and doing their best, but still face many challenges. We want to make sure their needs are being met in every way!

One way to help them feel important and included is by celebrating their attendance and being punctual every day. I want to provide them with treats and Amazon gift cards to get gifts to reward them for their effort.

We also need everyday snacks for our classroom! Most of my students are not able to bring a snack to school. They receive free breakfast and lunch but are very hungry by mid-morning. Providing a snack to them helps them to feel less stressed and helps them feel included!

Thank you for this opportunity to support my students in this upcoming school year! With your help, I will have the resources to help my students feel included and healthy daily!
