This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are creative, ambitious, and inquisitive learners! They have a true passion for learning and enjoy engaging in projects and taking on any challenge given. My students enjoy collaborating with peers and supporting each other! They are compassionate and kind. They come to class each day ready to learn and grow both personally and academically.

My Project

There is no doubt that this school year has been a challenging one. Students are trying to catch up on learning and adapt to this new way of life. My students have lost loved ones, been sick, taken on additional responsibilities and have experienced a lot of stress. I could not be more proud of my students and their dedication to learning.

With these items, I can create a classroom where all of their needs are taken care of for that hour.

I will be able to provide snacks for students when they are hungry. We would have the necessary supplies when needed. Students will be able to continue to focus on growing academically and finishing this year strong.
