Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My 3rd graders are awesome goal orientated students with a drive to see growth within themselves. It's awesome to see their eyes light up when they see their hard work payoff. We are currently working and striving to meet end of year goals and are making excellent gains. I am beyond proud of thier accomplishments thus far. These kids understand and are determined to excel in life. I feel that they are beginning to believe they can make an impact on their future by working hard now. They are our future!
My Project
We are a month away from our yearly state assessment and my students have been staying after school for tutorials. I have chosen several Snack Variety Packs that will help me feed my students during these extra hours of instruction and learning. They often go without a single complaint, but I know that such a long stretch between lunchtime and dismissal time takes a toll on them both mentally and physically. I would like to ease their hunger through a small snack so they can re-energize for a couple more hours before they get to go home. Please help me continue fueling their minds by also fueling their bodies!
