This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our students are exceptional, preschoolers/elementary students with a wide range of disabilities to include autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorders, chromosome abnormalities, orthopedic impairments, vision impairments, developmental delays, and speech-language delays. Most of our students function on a 6-month to 5 year old developmental age. Our students have fine motor skill challenges as well as sensory issues.
We are always looking for ways to help our students meet their goals and have fun while learning.
My students love to learn and this project getting funded will help them succeed.
My Project
This project will give my students a snack and juice to help them fight off being hungry and low on energy. I can also send snacks home with my students on weekends to .are sure they have something to hold them over until they are back at school. All of us need a boost to build brain power and energy during the day, this will allow me to provide these things without putting a financial burden on parents. My students deserve the best I can give them and with your help they will get it.
