Help me give my students a great snackin start back to school. My students will need energy from these Goldfish and Tootsie pop treats in order to get back into the groove of learning.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My scholars are a energetic bunch of second graders who have a love for learning. These scholars come from a low socioeconomic background where many of them are living with various relatives or in temporary housing. All of my scholars receive free lunch and breakfast each day at school.
“Education is the key to unlocking the world, a passport to freedom.” – Oprah Winfrey.
Although there may be some challenges in their background, they all come to school to work together in order to succeed academically and socially. We are a second grade family who makes sure everyone has what they need in order to succeed! I want my scholars to know that each one of them has something special and unique to contribute to the group! I make sure they know how important they are to me and the classroom!
My Project
These snacks and treats will be a great way to ease my students back into the school routine. Coming back to a new school year can be difficult for young children. These pretzels and Goldfish will fill their stomachs so that they will be able to focus and learn again in the classroom.
The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet

The Dum Dum suckers and the Starburst candies will be a nice for rewarding good behavior! All of these wonderful snacks and treats are great incentives I can use to motivate my students back on track for a successful new year!
