My Students
My classroom is made up of 18 eager Pre-K students, Ten are general ed, students and 8 are pre-k students with disabilities. Our school serves students in poverty. As a Title l school, we are used to going without, yet our students still have the same needs as others, if not greater needs. My students come from families that cannot provide any of the supplies needed for our school, so we often make due with what we have. This means that we are unable to purchase the things that would better assist my students who have severe learning needs, Despite this, we have passionate learners and teachers who are dedicated to providing the best education possible to our students.
My Project
The snacks will provide a light snack for my students during school time. The classroom supplies are general classroom supplies, that students go through and use, daily.
In our classroom, we have a snack bin and this project will help supply it with more snacks for my students.
Students are able to get a small snack, for our afternoon snack, each day. Students come to school, excited to learn and excited to see their friends, but they get even more excited, when there is a snack involved, a tasty one!!!
The general classroom supplies that students seem to go through quickly are pencils, hand soap, disinfecting wipes and paper towels. This donation will help with cleaning our environment to keep my sunshines healthy.
