Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In this warmth and hunger project the goal is to give students a cocoa station and snack center to start their day and refresh their afternoon all the while using math skills to count supplies and also to take orders for other students in the class. Students would be utilizing math skills in computation, ordering, writing numerals, and counting.
Giving students a working business model of a cocoa station helps provide career readiness skills and also nurtures students that are hungry.
Students will improve socials skills and grow their math skills.
