My Project

I teach an amazing group of first graders. They love learning through hands on projects and class discussions. Most of our instruction takes place before lunch so we have a snack time mid morning. Although I have many students who bring their own snack I have many who don't and ask for one. It gets expensive buying daily snacks for a classroom of students so I am reaching out to the community for support.

Having a snack increases blood-sugar levels and gives students the energy to focus on learning.

When kids are hungry it is hard for them to focus on anything else. I have included small bottles of water, crackers, fruit cups, fruit snacks, chips, and mac-n-cheese bowls. These items will get us through the end of the school year. With your help I can provide what my students need to focus and do their best work.
